Wrinkles ? Nature has medicines !

Inspirational quotes indeed about wrinkles. But the truth is almost everybody dislikes getting old ( or for that matter looking old).

In pursuit of attaining eternal youthfulness, man ( and woman) has, since time immemorial, looked for ways and means to keep their skin smooth and youthful. But alas ! Nature does not care. It has its uncompromising ways of functioning. Slowly but steadily and surely it takes over our body.

When old age descends on someone's life, the most visible sign is the wrinkles on his / her face. It is natural. The skin will become loose and sagging.

Like it or not, fact is : women are more worried about wrinkles than men.They think they must look youthful ( no wrinkles ) to impress others especially men folk. But I would say this is a wrong notion. You can have wrinkles and still be desirable.

She looks so beautiful,youthful and respectable even in her advancing old age ( and with wrinkles !).It tempts me to befittingly quote Victor Hugo to describe the above picture of Mrs. Gordimer.

Remedy ? Mission Control ?

When Nature is the cause of this undesirable effect, answer for remedy must also be available with the nature.

Here enters AYURVEDA ! It is the only system in the world completely in tune with Mother Nature.

From whatever I have gathered from Ayurveda, followings are some of the effective ways and means you can apply to get a glowing, youthful skin on your face and to some extent prevent early arrival of wrinkles....

1. Paste of turmeric and sugarcane applied regularly on wrinkled skin.
2. Every night before going to bed coconut oil massage on wrinkles.
3. Rub lemon and amalaki ( Indian gooseberry)on wrinkles daily.
4. Drink a teaspoon of honey and fresh ginger daily at sunrise.
5. If you know Yoga, practice it preferably in the early morning. Yoga rejuvenates both your mind and body.
6. Eat lot of fruits and sleep well.

Besides all these,never forget to...

1. Protect yourself from excessive exposure to sun light.
2. Smoking ? A big "No No".
3. Beware of weight loss programs. Sudden loss in weight often leads appearance of wrinkles. It is a well documented fact.
